IASFM18 Postponed - Important update - Coronavirus

Dear IASFM colleagues,

In this time of global pandemic, we stand in solidarity with the many people affected by the virus, especially those who are forcibly displaced. Due to current travel restrictions related to the COVID-19 virus, and uncertainties about when these restrictions will be lifted, the IASFM Executive Committee has taken the difficult decision to postpone the Ghana conference to July 26-29, 2021.

If your paper or panel has been accepted, this acceptance will be carried over to next year. The conference committee will be in touch closer to the time to confirm that you are still able to attend and ask for any updates to your abstract(s) or panel composition.

If you have already registered and paid for the conference, you can get a full refund of the registration fee, or you can choose to roll over your registration to next year. Whichever way you decide, please contact Michele Millard at mmillard@yorku.ca so we can process your request accordingly.

If you have submitted a travel subsidy request, we will be in touch in early 2021 to confirm whether your situation has changed. If not, decisions will be made at that time.

We apologize for any convenience caused by these circumstanced beyond our control.

Yours sincerely,

CHRISTINA CLARK-KAZAK, DPHIL
