Ghana is well connected to Europe with regular flights from London and Amsterdam. It is also a hub for regional African flights. Ghana provides visa free access for all those travelling from other West African countries and a few countries outside West Africa, including Kenya and Singapore. From 1s t July 2016 citizens of the African Union (except Morocco) and many countries outside Africa have been able to obtain a 30 day visa for Ghana upon arrival for a fee $150. Please note that it is NOT possible to obtain a visa on arrival. You must apply for your entry visa BEFORE travelling to Ghana. The visa can be obtained from Ghana Embassies/High Commissions, Consulates or other Embassies authorized by the Government of Ghana to issue visas on its behalf. The Centre for Migration Studies will be able to provide letters of invitation where required to enable speakers and participants to travel to Ghana. Please indicate whether you require a letter of invitation when you register for the conference. Further information available here.
