Background:

Research on forced migration is not limited to certain contexts but takes place worldwide and is accompanied by networks to bring scholars together. The following list includes national, regional and global research networks revolving around forced migration worldwide. Despite intensive efforts to identify existing and active networks, the list is not exhaustive. It shall serve as a service to the community to facilitate exchange, increase visibility and foster networking among the networks. Below you find three tables, one about open forced migration studies networks, one about project-related networks and therefore closed circles, and one about policy-oriented networks.

If you wish to add a network on forced migration studies to the list, please send an e-mail with the respective information to Merlin Flaig (merlin.flaig@die-gdi.de). The list can be updated if required.
