Shailja Sharma is an Associate Professor of International Studies and Director of the M.S. in Refugee and Forced Migration Studies at DePaul University, Chicago. She is the co-editor of New Cosmpolitanisms: South Asians in the US (Stanford, 2006) and author of the forthcoming Postcolonial Minorities: In the Hyphen of the Nation-State (Manchester, 2016).
