Asresahegn Birhanu Gelaw is an Assistant Professor of Peace and Security Studies at the College of Social Sciences and Humanities at Debre Markos University, Ethiopia. He holds a PhD in Peace and Security Studies from the Institute for Peace and Security Studies (IPSS), Addis Ababa University. He was a Forced Migration and Refugee Studies: Networking and Knowledge Transfer (FFVT) fellow at BICC. His research focuses on refugee integration, migration, durable solutions, IDP, and conflict. He has published research outputs in reputable journals.
