Visa

Participants who are nationals of the following countries are eligible for visa exemption for a maximum stay of 30 days. This visa type is non-extendable. 

• Brunei Darussalam
• Cambodia
• Colombia
• Hongkong
• Laos
• Malaysia
• Myanmar
• Philippines
• Singapore
• Suriname
• Thailand
• Vietnam

How to apply:

1. When arriving at Indonesian airports/port of entry, proceed to the Immigration checkpoint for ASEAN nationals.
2. Documents to prepare:
   – Passport valid for at least 6 months
   – Outbound ticket from Indonesia

Nationals of countries that are included in the list of countries below can apply for a visa on arrival (VOA) to visit Indonesia with the Visa type B1- Main Purpose: General, Family or Social visit, Sub Purpose: Tourism, Family visit and Transit. 

This visa allows a stay up to 30 days, and is (online) extendable for another 30 days. This visa type will enable you to:

• Conduct activities related to tourism, and visiting friends or family.
• Participate in meetings, incentives, conventions, and exhibitions as an attendee.
• Travel in Indonesia on a yacht (yachter).

How to Apply

Visa on-Arrival can be applied at Indonesian airports. 

• Upon arrival, go to Visa on Arrival counter
• Pay the Visa on Arrival fee of IDR 500.000
• Get the Visa on Arrival sticker
• Go to immigration check counter

Follow these choices in the drop-down menu for the B1 Visa type:

• Choose the country of your passport
• The main purpose of my visit to Indonesia is: General, Family or Social visit
• The sub purpose of my visit to Indonesia is: Tourism, Family visit and Transit
• I want to explore & choose a visa: B1 – Tourist (Visa on Arrival)  
• Follow the next steps and pay the visa fee of IDR 500,000. 

Nationals of countries not eligible for a visa exemption or e-VOA will need to apply for a Single-entry Visitor Visa to attend IASFM20 Conference.

How to apply

1. Submit Required Documents: Send the following necessary documents via email to the IASFM20 Conference Secretariat (iasfm20@rdiuref.org):
   • Passport Scan: A clear scan of your passport cover and bio page, which must be valid for at least 6 (six) months from your expected date of arrival. For holders of travel document other than passport such as emergency passports, documents of identity, etc., the document must be valid for 12 (twelve) month
   • Recent Photograph: A passport photo with a white background that clearly shows your face up to the chest area.
   • Proof of Payment: A transfer receipt of visa processing fee. See visa payment section below for payment.
2. Visa Processing by OIA UGM: After confirming all necessary documents from the applicant and the conference organizer, IASFM20 Conference Secretariat will forward the application pack to OIA UGM for further processing with the Indonesian immigration authorities. The process of the Indonesian immigration is expected to take 10-15 business days or more for nationals of the Calling Countries.
3. Visa Issuance: Indonesian immigration will issue the visa to OIA UGM, who will send the visa to IASFM20 Conference Secretariat.
4. Visa Delivery and Validity: IASFM20 Conference Secretariat will send you the visa once received from OIA UGM. The visa must be used within 90 days from the date of issue.

Visa Payment

The IASFM20 Conference Secretariat is working with OIA UGM to support your visa application. The visa payment will go through the IASFM Conference Secretariat. 

The visa processing costs IDR 2,100,000, which includes the visa application fee (IDR 2,000,000) and administration fee (IDR 100,000). Please make your payment to the following bank account on the Local Payment Instruction. Please note that your visa application can only be initiated upon us confirming the receipt of payment.     

Nationals of Afghanistan, Guinea, Israel, North Korea, Liberia, Nigeria, and Somalia (Calling Countries) require additional authorizations from Immigration Office in Indonesia before traveling. 

As per the existing regulation, visa application must be done through the conference organizer. The IASFM20 Conference Secretariat will work with the Office of International Affairs, University of Gajah Mada (OIA UGM) to support you with the application process. Therefore, visa processing time for nationals of these countries will take longer. Please ensure to contact the IASFM20 Conference Secretariat as soon as possible.

   • A Curriculum Vitae (CV): An updated CV detailing your professional background and achievements.
   • A Round-Trip Tickets: Proof of your return flight ticket, including both your arrival and departure dates.
   • Accommodation Details: Information related to your accommodation arrangements during your stay.

Visa Processing by OIA UGM: After confirming all necessary documents from the applicant and the conference organizer, IASFM20 Conference Secretariat will forward the application pack to OIA UGM for further processing with the Indonesian immigration authorities.
